A heart-tugging drama that explores the lives of a group of Southern ladies. Truvy's beauty parlor is the site of three years of ups and downs in the lives of a small group of ladies who come there regularly to have their hair done. A cast of six women bring to life some remarkable examples of Southern womanhood whose lives are intertwined, bouncing between heart-tugging drama and knee-slapping humor.
