Director: Charles Wilson
During a week in 1939, producer David O. Selznick has shut down production on Gone With the Wind and hired a new director and screenwriter. But the writer hasn't read the book, so the producer and director act it out (with hilarious results) for him as the three of them are locked in together for 5 days (with only bananas and peanuts) to complete a new script. A delightful, zany, energetic re-telling of an event that actually happened on the way to producing America's most famous film. Contains occasional profanity, but nothing overly offensive.
